May be we know the feeling: You start your gym cycle, you plan your month according to it (very motivated). After a week or 15 days, your motivation levels go low or beneath the ground. You think to skip the gym? Obviously, you did once or twice and after this, you know it very well that your gym pass wants to keep you motivated but your motivation level still keeps falling down. Here, we decide to step in help you. How?

Here are some tips on how to keep up your motivation to go to gym.

  1. Gather your squad

Working out with your buddy is a lot more than an alarm clock on the other side of the room. You don’t even need to think about putting an alarm to go to gym, your friend does it for you without any cost. Plus, fitness buddy increases the amount of exercise you do with healthy competition and consistent support.

  1. Sleep in your gym Clothes

Yes, this is the trick and it really works! Setting your clothes out at night isn’t enough motivation, try wearing them into bed. TRY IT! It is about training your mind because your outfit plays a role in altering your personality and activity both.

  1. Reward yourself

Agree! This is the only trick to get and stay motivated for gym, for example twice a week for two months, you will get a reward. Apart from this, you can mark star for reward, your goal on calendar. For rewards, make sure you will be strict with yourself.

  1. Listen your favorite podcast

We already are aware that every gym has a sound system, I insist to take your cellphone with you, tune into your favorite podcast and you are good to go! You know that when you listen to interesting music/podcast while working out, it keeps giving you the push and you propels your performance boosting the happiness factor.

  1. Keep a track of your progress

Nothing is more motivating than seeing our body transformed into your reality. Make sure you keep track of your progress as you exercise. This helps you set up, achieve and troubleshoot new short-term goals, taking a day at a time. You look forward to next day’s, next week’s and next month’s success.

  1. Make sure to rest

Workout every day can exhaust your body. If you like to exercise most, if not every day of the week, make sure one of those days is devoted to active rest. Well rested body, performs even better and is absolutely important for muscle recovery.

  1. Follow a Schedule

Following a training schedule will maintain your motivation to keep up with your workout. Because, if you don’t finish your training schedule, you’ll not able to make it. A certified trainer can help you better in this because then you don’t have to run your mind for scheduling workouts for the week for you, you just have willingly follow.

  1. Focus on adding

Rather than getting focusing only on erasing everything you think is unhealthy, shift your focus to adding food that might be missing from your day, such as fruits and veggies. Without apt nutrition, your fitness goals will be affected and that again will demotivate you.
